Another wonderful month, and the growth we are seeing in our community, and the participation in our mission – is amazing and can only come from God, building the Church and the wonderful efforts of our volunteers.

Jesus said, “I am the vine and my Father is the gardener…Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” (John 15:1, 3, 4)

As we have passed another month and start to see the Christmas decorations appear in the shops, I have been thinking on Jesus as the vine. In the near future we move towards our Christmas celebrations, and whether we like Christmas or not, (I do), we look at the birth of Jesus and all that that means for us!

Jesus is God, in the flesh. Without Him we have no salvation, without Him we have no life!

What a privilege it is to worship the God that created us and gives us life! What a privilege to be involved in the business of the King!! To bear fruit for the universe creator and salvation giver is a wonderful thing. What a privilege it is, to be involved in a community that shines that light.

The title of our newsletter, LeFevre Lighthouse is so apt when I come in each week and see our community shining the light of Jesus into our community.
