Dear friends,
As we enter the season of Advent I am thankful for this season of anticipation and hope. The COVID Pandemic has made life even more changeable and uncertain. There has been fear, anxiety, hardship and struggle. Yet even amidst this time, I wonder:
- How have you noticed God is with us?
- Have you seen God’s presence in nature?
- How have the scriptures proclaimed God’s love to you I wonder?
- How have you experienced God’s love in the faithfulness of this community and the love of family and friends?
Advent means to wait faithfully with anticipation. Advent means to trust God’s promises. In the first Sunday of Advent we celebrated Hope. What are you hoping for this Christmas 2020? My prayer is for peace, harmony and contentment as we anticipate the birth of the Christ child in our hearts, minds and souls again and again forever more. Amen.
