With borders opening soon and the threat of ballooning COVID cases, how do we live as Christians in this changing world?
Isaiah 43:1-2 says, “But now thus says the Lord, He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned.”
We are in a place where people are afraid and do not know what the future holds for us. We, as a community, have a beautiful outreach into a world that is hurting. We also have a hope that the world doesn’t have. Our God has called us each by name and given us a hope, a future and a promise for life and eternity.
This month as things change yet again, let’s live and shine that hope into the world. Now, more than ever, we need to be open, caring and loving in a world that is living in fear.
Blessings,
Justin.
